I’m just an ordinary writer/editor, plying his trade in the 21st century media market. Writing and reading are more than an occupational hazard to me; they are a hobby. I pride myself on making a profession out of a skill set that I acquired when I was in kindergarten. The pencils aren’t as chubby anymore, and the paper doesn’t have real bits of wood chunks protruding from the surface, but it’s still the same game.

I live in Georgetown, Kentucky, with my wife, Julia, and our six cats and one dog, plus any number of foster cats that we take in for the local humane society. In October 2009 I joined the staff of the Georgetown News-Graphic as a general assignment reporter.
